1 x 100ml tin of our rich, protective baby barrier cream which, like all of our Cosy Cuddles range, is handmade in our workshop in Malton, Yorkshire, in small, waste-free batches. The concentrated, protective formula is based on coconut oil and shea butter, with rapeseed derived glycerin and calendilla wax.

Like all our products, the cream contains no added water, hence the richly moisturising effects of the coconut oil and shea butter are undiminished. The product also contains glycerin, a natural humectant, which has been widely reported to help with skin hydration and improving the function of the skin as a barrier to infections and irritants.  Calendilla wax derived from the leaves of the calendilla shrub, ensures stability of the product and provides a natural emollient. Together, this unique blend of oils, glycerin and wax creates an effective barrier for use in the nappy area, in particular.   

1 x 95g bar of natural, handmade baby soap, created using a gentle blend of coconut oil, shea butter and extra virgin olive oil with no artificial colourings, stabilisers or preservatives. The Cosy Cuddles range for babies and infants contains no synthetic fragrances; we prefer instead to add a hint of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil. Chamomile is frequently used in natural remedies and herbal medicine for the relief of skin problems and rashes and is an aromatherapy staple for calming and stress relief. 

We have worked closely with a fully qualified midwife and an independent,  professional cosmetic safety assessor to ensure the quality and safety of our Cosy Cuddles range. 

The products contain no animal derived ingredients and are suitable for vegans. Like everything we produce, our baby range is cruelty free; we never test on animals, only willing family members, colleagues and other human volunteers. 

We are passionate about the environment and all our products are palm oil free. Our products are all plastic free, and all our packaging is either recyclable or compostable.

Instead we use top quality plant derived oils, vegetarian waxes and steam distilled flowers, plants and fruits.

Our boxes, wrappers and jars are all fully reusable, recyclable or compostable and we use no plastic packaging.

Our caring bundle of shaving-time treats. We have received outstanding feedback from shavers with sensitive skin about the benefits of our natural, SLS free shaving soap. 

Everything is handmade in small, low energy consumption and low wastage batches, in our Yorkshire workshop, from an ecologically friendly coconut oil base. We only use natural ingredients, free from palm oil and the potentially  harmful effects of parabens and SLS. We add no water to our extra long-lasting products, nor do we use any artificial colorings. Our fragrances are all lovingly created from steam distilled flowers., fruits and plants.

At Cosy Cottage we do not test anything on animals and we do not commission third parties to do so on our behalf. We have plenty of willing friends and family members who are more than happy to test our products themselves and we work closely with medical professionals,  a cosmetics safety consultant and microbiology lab. to ensure everything is absolutely safe to use.  

None of our products contain any plastics and our packaging is all recyclable or compostable. 

This useful and long-lasting bundle includes a handmade pottery shaving dish, made by our good friends, Fangfoss Pottery, just down the road from us here in Malton, Yorkshire. Our rich, soothing hand balm is made entirely from natural ingredients. It is not diluted with water and contains no unnatural additives. This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter and aloe vera.

The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands. A gentle sweet orange scent is created by the addition of essential oil fragrance. Available in a 30ml size or 60ml size.

This product is VEGAN.

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The heat inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth. 

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand balm to be uniquely helpful and beneficial.

This beautiful hand balm is handmade in our small, cottage laboratories in Malton, Yorkshire, UK and packaged in a fully-recyclable glass jar with an aluminium lid. A little of this product goes a very long way as we add no added water at all.

The smaller 30ml jar is ideal for handbag or travel. 

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.
