Good for your hair, good for your pocket and GREAT for the planet, our popular 55g natural shampoo bars are now available in lavender or lemongrass essential oil fragrances in addition to the fragrance free version.

The 55g shampoo bars are 100% sulphate free, additive free, palm oil free, cruelty free, plastic free, they're suitable for vegans and 100% natural. All our packaging is plastic free; either fully recyclable cardboard or made from plant derived materials. Alternatively you may choose to receive your shampoo bars free from any packaging.

We manufacture our products in small, waste-free batches in the beautiful market town of Malton, Yorkshire in the UK.

These shampoo bars can help to reduce the 36 million plastic bottles used EVERY DAY in the UK because they completely eliminate the need for plastic packaging. Plastic makes up 80% of the waste found on beaches around the world and over 300,000 tonnes of debris that floats in our oceans.

Each shampoo bar lasts longer than your average bottle of shampoo as we do not add water to our products. You will find you need much less than high street detergent-based shampoos; a little goes a very long way.

Our natural shampoo bar now comes in three fragrance options:

- The original fragrance-free formulation is extra gentle for sensitive scalps

- The lemongrass essential oil fragranced variation smells fresh and energizing. Lemongrass essential oil is said to balance excess oil production - we've had some great feedback from our trial bars and you can read it here

- The lavender essential oil fragranced version smells beautiful, relaxing and calming. Lavender essential oil is said to help with itchy, flaky scalp - we've had some great feedback from our trial bars and you can read it here

You will find you don't need as much product as liquid, detergent-based shampoos to clean your hair. Simply lather the solid shampoo bar in your hands and then apply to your hair as you would a liquid shampoo, before rinsing out very thoroughly and repeating.

Excellent product

We only use the fragrance free as we both suffer from irritation from almost all perfumes but it is the best hair product I have ever used. My hairdresser always remarks how soft my hair is and in good condition.

Needs improvement

All my family tried it and the result is not what I expected.Even after three applications in a row, the hair is left greasy and stiff;it doesn t feel clean at all,on the contrary.It didn t work for us and I won t buy it again.

This creamy and caring coconut oil based shaving soap is one of our most popular products. Like all our handmade soaps, the product is SLS free, paraben free, palm oil free, cruelty free, plastic free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived, including our clear bags and bubble wrap, which will compost within a year.

This large 80g bar is suitable for use on the face for customers seeking a gentle, natural shaving product. It contains bentonite clay for a deeply cleansing and smooth shave and is gently fragranced with lemongrass and patchouli natural essential oils.

We have received feedback from customers with incredibly sensitive skin who tend to come out in a rash when using shaving products. When using our natural Shaving Soap this didn't happen and their skin was left feeling smooth.

The handsome artisan pottery dish which is handmade by our friends at Fangfoss Pottery in Yorkshire, UK, will prolong the lifetime of the product and provide a convenient, tidy receptacle from which to wet the soap and create a good lather, using a shaving brush. The beautiful variation in the colours comes from the amount of oxygen in the kiln when made.

Our 100% soy wax Cosy candle is handmade here in our Yorkshire workshop. Our traditional, self trimming wicks are made from pure cotton with thin paper filaments, specifically designed to give a stable burn.

Each large 30cl candle is hand poured into a high quality, glass jar and will burn for a generous 30 - 40 hours in a draft free environment.
