Our nourishing and refreshing, oatmeal, lemon and peppermint hand and body scrub is handmade in our Yorkshire workshop from natural, palm oil free ingredients and is packaged in recyclable or reusable packaging. The 100ml aluminium tin of scrub is coconut oil and shea butter based with plant derived glycerin, which is a powerful moisture retentive ingredient; ideal for dry, dull skin.  

This nourishing, smoothing scrub is best massaged into skin using gentle small, circular movements and is suitable for hands, feet and body

Hands - use weekly or twice weekly to smooth any calloused, rough or hard skin before rinsing away any residual grains of oatmeal then moisturising thoroughly with one of our popular hand and body creams with essential oil fragrance

Feet - use weekly or twice weekly to soften hard skin prior to wiping away any residual oatmeal grains and then following up with a treatment with our mango and lemon foot balm. For a really intense treatment, for example to sooth badly cracked heels, pop on a pair of our bamboo socks and allow the Mango Foot Balm to soak in overnight.

Body - use on dry skin before entering the bath or shower or on wet skin in the shower to boost circulation, remove dead skin cells and help break down cellulite before rinsing and showering as usual.

Oatmeal - This popular, natural exfoliant absorbs excess oil from the skin and helps treat acne. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help relieve dryness and remove dead skin cells and the naturally occurring saponins within this popular skincare friend, are natural cleansers; removing the dirt and oil which can clog pores.

Lemon essential Oil - Rich in anti-oxidants, refreshing and energising. This essential oil can restore and brighten tired, sagging or damaged skin. 

Peppermint Essential Oil - Renowned for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties alongside its cooling, soothing action to calm irritation and inflammation.

Our natural deodorants are aluminium, additive, propellant and paraben free and offered in a recyclable aluminium tin. We compared our 50ml product to a 250ml spray can of deodorant, we used our customers’ feedback, volumes used and price data and we see a saving of over 50% of the daily cost.

The main reasons for the difference?

• Only a tiny bit of natural deodorant is needed to be effective
• Reapplication is required less frequently

Now available in this handy, discounted pack of two deodorants, showcasing both of our wonderful, scented natural deodorants. Not sure which to try? One person likes floral and another likes 'woody' scented? This pack is just right for you! You choose your preferred combination from the dropdown.

Two, natural, long-lasting deodorants: fresh and fantastic Geranium, Lavender and Tea Tree and our less floral but equally wonderful Sandalwood and Tea Tree, both in a 50ml size.

Our deodorants are offered with an optional wooden spatula for those who prefer not to use their fingers. Particularly useful for the lucky bearers of lovely, long fingernails!

They're aluminium free, plastic free, paraben free, alcohol free and palm oil free. Packaged in recyclable tins and fragranced with pure essential oils for a naturally fresh experience. As well as providing an effective deodorant effect, the combination of rich shea butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E protects and nourishes your sensitive underarm skin. 

To use, simply scoop a very small amount of the creamy, natural deodorant product from the tin with clean hands or dab the back of the index finger in the balm. Apply onto your underarm skin. See our video on how to apply here!

As with all of our products, we refrain from adding excess water. This means our natural deodorant is concentrated and a little goes a long way.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and natural deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and pop them in the fridge to reset if required. Some customers keep their natural deodorant in the fridge during very warm weather.

From removing stains from fabrics to shining kitchen sinks and cooker hobs - this solid cleaning soap does the job. This household cleaner can be used on multiple surfaces, leaving no residue or chemical smells behind. The residue, when washed down your sink, is fully biodegradable, unlike a multitude of traditional, detergent containing alternatives, which build up in our waterways, harming fish, water-based life and adding to the chemical imbalance in our rivers and oceans.

Our household soap is kind to hands, your home and the environment; containing no synthetic ingredients, no harsh detergents or bleaches and it is not fragranced with the harmful synthetic limonoids utilised in many commercially produced alternatives.

HOW TO USE:

On Fabric Stains:

Rub the Cosy Cottage household cleaning bar directly onto stains, hand wash and rinse. Repeat as desired for stubborn stains or use as a pre-wash treatment before putting into the washing machine. Very stubborn stains may take 2x treatments.

For hand washing and pre-wash soaking on stubborn stains, allow the bar to soak for 1 minute to moisten the soap and then apply directly onto stains and leave to soak.

On Kitchen and other hard Surfaces:

Rub the bar onto your cloth/sponge and apply to the surface to clean. For burnt on food or stubborn grease, leave for 5 minutes and wipe off to remove stains. Rinse as required.

Like our original shea butter facial soap, this extra large 290g bath and shower version is gently fragranced with a hint of sweet orange essential oil and contains no artificial ingredients, foaming agents (such as SLS or SLES), colours, preservatives (such as parabens) or whitening agents (such as titanium oxides). THIS IS A VEGAN PRODUCT

Luxurious and intense, our natural hair serum blends a wealth of active, natural haircare ingredients and leading edge science, backed by the traditional hair-stimulating, strengthening and balancing benefits of essential oils. This is a vegan product.

Our outstanding, intense and effective serum is free from palm oil, water, surfactants, artificial additives and preservatives. 

How to use

1. Apply to Towel Dried Hair after washing

Apply our rich and intense products sparingly; using only a few drops of serum in the palm of your hand. Rub hands together to warm and disperse the product, then massage into freshly washed, towel dried hair. Work through the hair to reach the ends, using a couple more drops as required if your hair is long. 

2. Apply as a touch-up to dry hair

Using only a drop or two in the palm of you hand, rub hands together to create a thin layer and gently glide palms over the surface of the hair to tame and control flyaways and create shine. 

3. Use as a nourishing overnight treatment

Apply a few drops to dry hair, again using the palms of your hands. Work through the hair and massage the scalp with fingertips. Take good care to cover any treasured bed linen, leave overnight and then wash out in the morning. 

Our serum has been formulated exclusively in-house and makes a wonderful complement to our existing suite of natural, effective haircare products. The natural, preservative free and SLS free formulation makes this product ideal for those with sensitivities or a predisposition to allergies.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

1. Apply to cleansed, dry facial skin before your moisturiser.
2. Using the dropper, drip around four drops into the palm of your hand. You can always add more later if required but remember that a little of this water-free, value for money, product will go a long way
3. Gently place palms together to share product between both hands and place palms on face. Move palms slowly over face to disperse product and then with fingertips, massage gently, using small circular movements into the whole surface of the face. Add more product a few drips at a time as needed.
4. Apply moisturiser as normal. 
5. Can be used as an intense overnight treatment if required or desired. In this instance, use around twice your normal daily amount of product before bed and allow to act on facial skin overnight
