Our Plastic and Palm Oil Free Essentials Set is perfect for those looking to reduce their plastic and palm oil consumption and are moving towards a more sustainable lifestyle. This eco-friendly starter set, presented in one of our unbleached cotton Cosy Cottage branded bags, contains the essentials we think you will need to look after yourself and the planet. 

We only use ingredients which can be found in nature and everything is free from the  harmful effects of parabens, detergents, sulphates and SLS. We add no water to our extra long-lasting products, nor do we use any artificial colourings. Our gentle fragrances are all created from steam distilled flowers., fruits and plants. Great for your skin, hair, the environment and your pocket too.

At Cosy Cottage we do not test anything on animals and we do not commission third parties to do so on our behalf. We have plenty of willing friends and family members who are more than happy to test our products themselves and we work closely with medical professionals,  a cosmetics safety consultant and microbiology lab. to ensure everything is absolutely safe to use.  We manufacture our products in small, low energy consumption, waste-free batches in Malton, Yorkshire, UK.

Everything is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived, including our clear bags and bubble wrap, which will compost within a year.

Our rich, soothing hand and body balm is made entirely from organic and natural ingredients, is not diluted with water and has no unnatural additives. The balm is ideal for chapped or very dry hands and contains no nasty chemicals which can leave hands feeling dry. 

For very dry hands, why not add a pair of our bamboo gloves for a luxurious, moisturising treat. Cover your hands with cream, pop on the gloves and leave for 20 minutes or more. The warmth inside the gloves will enable the cream to penetrate deeply for a regenerating hand-spa experience. Remove the gloves and either rub in any excess or wipe gently with a soft cloth. 

We have received great feedback from farmers, gardeners, cooks and other clients, suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand and body cream to be uniquely helpful and beneficial. 

This beautiful cream is handmade in our small, cottage laboratory in Yorkshire, UK and is packaged in a long lasting 60ml or a handy 30ml recyclable glass jar. A little of this product goes a long way as we include no added water.

"This is absolutely the best lip balm I've ever used! I get really dry chapped lips in this cold weather and other lip balms never really fixed it. This lip balm feels so nice when you put it on and has a lovely scent (peppermint). You barely have to use any as well so I imagine it will last a long time. After 2 days, my lips feel so soft and back to normal after having been very dry (it's even helped my split lip heal nicely)! Cannot recommend this any higher"

This lip balm feels so nice when you put it on and has a lovely scent (peppermint). You barely have to use any as well so I imagine it will last a long time. After 2 days, my lips feel so soft and back to normal after having been very dry (it's even helped my split lip heal nicely)! Cannot recommend this any higher2

The balms are shea butter and avocado oil based, providing an intense and lasting moisturising experience and an attractive natural sheen to your lips.

This product is available as an attractive duo in one of our cotton drawstring bags, which makes an ideal gift, or can be purchased on its own (with no bag) in our handy, screw top, recyclable aluminium tins.

The subtle minty and vanilla flavours are created by the addition of peppermint, or vanilla oils and there are no artificial colours or flavours. A beautifully natural treat for your lips.

This product is made in our Cosy Cottage workshop in Malton, Yorkshire, and comes in a convenient tin for ease of application and handy storage in a pocket or handbag. The neat 15g tin (3.5cm diameter) provides ease of application and is very long-lasting.

Our rich, soothing hand, body and foot balms are made entirely from natural ingredients, are not diluted with water and have no unnecessary and unnatural additives. This intensely moisturising product is coconut oil based with shea butter or mango butter and aloe vera. All of our gentle fragrances are created by the addition of steam distilled, plant derived, essential oils.

This option allows you to choose two, handy 30ml jars, which will arrive in an unbleached cotton, Cosy Cottage branded, drawstring bag. Just let us know which two balms you'd like (see the choices at the bottom of the page). Our 30ml jars are ideal for your handbag or travel bag and the intense, water free formulation will ensure they last you well.

Everything at Cosy Cottage is SLS free, additive-free, palm oil-free, cruelty-free, plastic-free and delightfully 100% natural. All packaging is either fully recyclable cardboard or plant derived and will compost within a year.

The balm is particularly helpful with dry or chapped skin - we have received great feedback from customers who work outdoors or in hospitality and suffering from dry skin, who have found our hand balm to be uniquely helpful and beneficial.

NOTE: Our hand/body creams and deodorants are coconut oil based rather than water/synthetic emulsifier based. They can become runny in very hot weather. Please keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and do pop them in the fridge to reset if required.

Our extra thick, soft, organic cotton facecloths make a luxurious and attractive bathroom accessory; the ideal complement to our soaps and accessories. They can be purchased individually or as a discounted bundle of three cloths.

The cotton from which they are made is certified organic and remains unbleached in this pure, natural product.
