Our regenerative Aloin-Rich Face Mask - part of our growing facial skincare and beauty range.
This generous and long-lasting 100ml tin uses the well-known therapeutic qualities of aloin, found in both aloe vera and in kelp. This new mask will nourish dry facial skin, regenerate and help to soothe troublesome conditions including rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
Harvested from the sea on Yorkshire's coast, natural and fast-growing kelp contains the compound aloin, which is also present in the natural aloe vera gel, within this rich and regenerative facial mask. Aloin is proven to help regenerate the connective tissues within the skin, regenerating and improving its structure and appearance. The nutrient-rich seaweed has also been known to counteract the sign of aging, helping to smooth pigmentation imbalances and even lighten age spots.
Made in the Cosy Cottage workshops in Malton, North Yorkshire, using processes which consume little fossil fuel and produce minimal waste. As with all Cosy Cottage products, this new product is made without hormone-disrupting parabens, sulphates and harmful preservatives. It is also 100% palm oil free, and the packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
- Pick up a scoop of product on your fingertips or a soft brush if preferred. Start with a marble sized amount of mask. You can pick up more product as you go. Remember that all our products are water free, great value for money and a little goes a very long way.
- Apply gently onto the surface of clean, dry skin over the whole facial area, using gentle, sweeping movelments. Apply sufficient mask to leave a layer or top of the skin and avoid getting the product into your eyes. You can use a soft brush to sweep the product onto the skin preferred.
- Relax and lie back and allow the product to sink into the skin. We recommend leaving the product for a period of 15 to 20 minutes if you are able to do so. The product will however prove effective after around 5 minutes if you are short of time.
- After leaving for the chosen period, gently massage any product which has not been absorbed, over the skin's surface, using small, circular movements. Take care to avoid the sensitive eye area.
- Remove any residual product from the skin's surface gently using a slightly damp soft flannel or cloth and pat dry.

We take the impact we have on the planet very seriously. The packaging used for this product can be recycled. When we post your items, any ‘plastic-like’ packaging we may use, including clear bags and bubble wrap, is made from biodegradable plant derived material that will compost in one year. So feel free to put it on your compost heap!
We reuse fully recyclable cardboard boxes we get from our suppliers where we see fit but your package will always look great and smell even better.
