The At-Home Gardener's Hand Ritual

After gardening, use the olive wood nailbrush to scrub hands and nails clean. Wash thoroughly with the sweet orange and clary sage soap. Pat dry, then apply the hempseed and patchouli cream generously, slip on the bamboo moisturising gloves, and leave for thirty minutes or so while the oils do their work. Remove the gloves and massage any excess cream into the hands. That's a proper treatment for hardworking hands.

What's in the Box

• 120g Sweet Orange and Clary Sage Soap bar -- a large, long-lasting bar for a thorough cleanse after gardening. Sweet orange and clary sage essential oils are uplifting and refreshing. Handmade in Yorkshire.
• 30ml Hempseed and Patchouli Hand and Body Cream -- our supremely popular cream, rich in hempseed oil which is abundant in tocopherols (vitamin E). Particularly effective on dry, chapped and hard-worked hands. Water-free and concentrated.
• Pair of bamboo moisturising gloves -- washable and reusable. Worn after applying the cream, they lock in moisture for a deep, spa-style treatment.
• Olive wood nailbrush with natural plant-derived bristles -- for cleaning hands and nails thoroughly before moisturising. Olive wood is naturally antibacterial and beautiful.

About the Hemp and Patchouli Cream

Hempseed oil is one of the most nutritionally complete plant oils available, with an ideal balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and a high concentration of tocopherols -- the natural form of vitamin E. It absorbs readily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue, making it particularly effective for dry, weather-worn and hard-worked hands. Patchouli essential oil adds a warm, earthy fragrance with its own well-established skin-calming properties.

Made in Yorkshire, Naturally

The soaps and cream in this box are handmade in small, low-energy batches in our Malton, North Yorkshire workshop, using ingredients sourced from UK-based suppliers wherever possible. No water is added to our products, making them more concentrated, longer-lasting and better value than most alternatives.

What's Not in It

No parabens, no SLS, no sulphates, no detergents, no artificial colours, no mineral oils, no palm oil. All fragrances are created from steam-distilled flowers, fruits and plants -- nothing synthetic.

The box is designed by a local artist and is frequently reused by customers. All our packaging is plastic-free and either fully recyclable cardboard or plant-derived and compostable, including our clear bags and bubble wrap, which will compost within a year. We use no plastic.
